Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

What kind of shoes/belt would go well with a grey suit? I'm getting married and I've picked out the suit, but I'm trying to get some shoes & a belt that well look good with it. Any sources of inspiration would be much appreciated.

A:

Dear Wedding Planner,

I think brown shoes look really nice with grey suits. And if you distrust my fashion advice for some reason, both Frere Rubik and Anathema agree with me! And if you distrust the entire Board's fashion advice for some reason (why did you even ask this question?) this wedding website also agrees with me!

For people who don't want to click on the link I provided, I'll sum up the advice I found there: brown shoes lighten up grey suits and don't look as dark and heavy as black with grey does, so they're a great option. If your suit is light grey, pretty much any shade of brown will probably look really good. If your suit is more of a charcoal grey, go with a dark brown. The darker the shoe the more formal your appearance will be, and darker browns are also more suited to fall and winter months. If you're having a summer wedding, lighter brown shoes would match that vibe better.

I also found this website which is specifically all about pairing brown shoes with grey suits, and for visual appeal I've included several of their pictures below. If you want even more inspiration, I would recommend scrolling through that whole linked webpage, though, because it's rife with pictures like this.
